A nice photo, but not of an 88. That's a 15cm s.F.H.18. A gun which usually equipped the heavy abteilung of a divisional artillery regiment.

Thanks simon. This forum is the best. I have two pics of two towed pieces and you can tell that they were coming down the street right after another. Shame I can't see any divisional markings. Mike
