Who are these panzer officers?

Hello,

is anybody able to tell me who these officers are? I believe the person in the middle is RK-holder Oberst Paul-Hermann Werner, commander of Panzerregiment 31, but who are the persons standing next to him? Thanks for your help!

Yes, there is definitely a close resemblance to Paul Hermann Werner. But looks like his RK is doctored, as he won it on 03.06.40 and died on 30.06.40! If indeed it was him, then the General on the left ( if you enlarge the pic enough seems to be a general ....plus the body language, the "general" seemed to be the most senior of all three ), could it be GenLt Lemelsen? He just became commander of 5 Pz on 29.05.40.

Hello Elwyn,

It is difficult to see with these blurry photos but I think you could be right about that. There is a little resemblance to him. There is also something written on the backsides of the photos but it is very difficult to read for me. I will post them now. Any help is appreciated.
