One of my friends recently bought an SS Soldbuch.
Can anybody tell me (if it´s possible) the job of the soldier when he was civilian? Thanks a lot.

Maschinenmeister perhaps? Something like a fully qualified (no longer apprentice or trainee) working with lathes, other powered tools.

There are no options here - it reads Maurermeister = Master Maison.

Next time, just guess it in the first place.
