Hi,
recently aquired a Begleitzettel für Verwundete for a Fallscirmjäger of the 14. FJ Reg. of the 5. FJ Div. This guy suffered from a serious frostbite during the Ardennes Offensive and was treated by the HVP L60849 on the 7. jan. 1945, does anyone know what unit (Hauptverbindungsplatz) the L60849 was?

1. Kompanie Fallschirm-Sanitäts-Abteilung 5 would indeed make sense, however do you think it would be the same FPN for this unit on the 7. january 1945? I know FJ Reg. 14 switched back to its old FPN in dezember 1945 after being rebuild (destroyed in Normandy juli 1944).

Interestingly we always think of frostbites as something happening on the russian front, it happened to troops during the Ardennes Offensive as well apparently, even after the lessons in Russia.

Sorry, was a bit to quick, the 14. FJ Reg. switched back to its old FPN in dezember 1944 not 1945 of course
