    Generalleutnant Otto Schünemann Photo...

While not in my personal line of collecting (which is Hunde, of course), I was recently able to purchase two quite nice photos, one being a photo of Generalleutnant Otto Schünemann (Kommandant des Truppenübungsplatzes Bergen, 1 July 1935 to 30 April 1938) at a Train staion pictured underneath a "Bergen" sign (this being the [heavily] cropped photo below), the other photo being 3 Wehrmacht members standing underneath a large "Belsen" sign (just couldn't resist the "matching set" of Bergen - Belsen photos).

What I found especially interesting about Schünemann is that he was arrested by the Gestapo 12.12.44, but eventually released:

The uncropped photo of the Schünemann photo posted is is actually crystal clear (it fuzzed out upon enlargement / cropping)....if anyone has any other photos of Generalleutnant Otto Schünemann it would be appreciated if you could post them in this thread....

Thankx for the links Gerdan, but there were two Generalleutnant Otto Schünemann(s), the links you posted not being the "Bergen" Schünemann...
