    Erich Hartmann ISP

I just finished reading the sticky thread about Craig's SP and the question of authenticity. I used to collect KC, SS and NSDAP signatures but got out of it for the same reason I did SS material. You can really never be 100% sure, and if I have any doubt, I don't want it in my collection. But I thought I would share a special signature I kept. I received it in the mail 23 years ago when I was 16 years old. Has the original envelope with Hartmann's address. He was kind enough to send it to me for 2, $1.00 bills. My dumb butt almost sold it for an offer of $450.00 a few years ago. Signed in ballpoint pin, has never been in sunlight and never will be. A special piece to me I thought I would share. The inscription isn't blurry at all, just not a great camera shot.

Very nice! It is definitely a "keeper".

Unless it was nighttime, or the weather was bad, and you were running out of gas - then it was a sweaty nightmare, like a monkey f*ing a skunk.

Lucky You, I have his sig twice and for obvious reasons a favorite right after Heinz Bär and Walther Dahl which was tough to get.
      Thanks for sharing!
