SS photo on ebay???????

Hello, this photo strikes me as really weird.
The TK on his cap is the right way around, while the SS runes are on the wrong side as is the rank tab.
I emailed the seller, and he is 100% certain this is 100% authentic.
If the TK was also the wrong way around, I could argue it was a complete fake.
However....... I am stumped with this one.
Any views?

looks like a reverse negative photo to me. the question would be when was it printed?

Definitely a reversed negative print. Ask him for a scan of the reverse side of the photo.

I also saw this one while doing my usual ebay "apple picking". Supposedly this "sanyoakido" seller is related to seller "Totenkopf_elite" as well as "original_german_ww2photos". Not saying anything good or bad about them, as I dont buy from them....but figured Id let you know.
