Joe, off the top of my head I do know that Police Regiment 15 served extensively on the Northern sector of the Russian front. As for it being in Northern Italy in 1945 I am sure someone here will have the answer. As an aside, I'm careful with docs such as these, even if they have a stamp due to the large number of bogus metal stamps that surfaced on the market some years ago. In one instance I recall seeing that the Manion's catalogues had them.
