    SS TK Officer Identification Assistance...

A friend of mine just picked up this nice little double Totenkopf collar tab Officer photo (note what looks to be an Wehrmacht sleeve eagle and cap eagle). Considering the fellows age and awards (or lack thereof), one cannot discount that he may (??) have possibly been an Officer within the KL system.

Would anyone have a positive ID on this fellow ???

    Hi,

I can't help to ID the Officer, but can we see a photo of the back?

Don't really like the quality of the photo, could be modern print.

    Regards, Thomas

      Thomas:

Agreed - the image is grainy and gives one that "copy-of-a-copy" feeling....all I know at the moment is that it was purchased as part of a very small grouping of 6 or 8 other TK photos all of which passed the black-light UV test....I will ask my friend for scans of the reverse.

        Could this be Theodor Eicke?

No chance it could be Eicke, who was promoted ϞϞ-Gruppnführer on 11. July 1934. This man is far too junior in rank, and the awards are all wrong. (for starters, he weras ribbon of the 1939 EK II - Eicke had the 1914 version).
