von Hindenburg print inscription - Help

    Good day Gentlemen

This is a print of von Hindenburg that I acquired recently with a whole collection of early Deutsche Jägerschaft items belonging to a Herr Karl Kohl from the Hanover area. The family believe that this print was given to Herr Kohl who was his personal Forstmeister or Jägdmeister. I can't make out the inscription or the signature so have no idea if this is true or not.

Can anyone help with the inscription and is it indeed Hindenberg's signature?

    Many thanks

    James

It's not the signature of von Hindenburg. It's a presentation for a golden wedding anniversary and is signed by a retired General of Artillery (probably from WW1) whose signature I cannot read.

The signature of Hindenburg looks like this example:

The signature is made by "General der Artillerie a. D. Rodulf von Horn". He was Präsident of the vet organization.

It now becomes obvious after you have identified it. Many thanks.

Rudolf von Horn was Präsident of the Preußische Landeskriegerverband till he died 4. 2. 1934.

So he could have signed the back of the photograph. He was also - as a tradition - the chief of the Kyffhäuserbund.
