    Best Dealer of signatures

Hi All, Quick question. What is the safest dealer for period signatures? (I know first step is get to know what an authentic one looks like ) But I am curious who you like? Thanks! Brad

I casually look at Huesken's site, but prices are high

It's not what they look like but if they're right.

Buy books and look at period examples. Most I get sent to give an opinion (SS) are obviously bad with wrong rank, unit, or other data specifics. And the data is in books though those who send them to me invariably say "I can only afford the documents or photos, books cost to much."

I can ID most Army Generals but the actual period examples are harder to find, but the safest service. Also most dealers can't read what they sell and bargains can be had. Most diversity at reasonable price would be Vorschlagsliste, after that EK documents or signed photos for Army Generals.

For SS Generals, KC and GC holders see my current series.

For Luft aces the Obermaier series on KC holders, signed photos being the most numerous.

The higher end stuff, Himmler, Hitler, etc I'd avoid till you've seen and learned a LOT. Most dealer's selling them who offer a wide range of items are clueless as to real or not, just if your money is.

Depends a bit on what kind of sigs you want and on what, but for RKT and generals etc. you might like to try looking for award documents. Some dealers that focus on signatures will price award documents much higher than other dealers that focus on the award document itself.
Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.

The 6 (thus far) SS/Police German Cross series will give you numerous examples of signed documents, signed photos, etc of Generals, KC holders, and German Cross holders by unit.

Good advice from the gentlemen above. There are some good people on this site to deal with, such as Ralf (frankandfrank) and Jean-Yves (JYN). I also have a large supply of knight's cross winners, so let me know if you have a particular person in mind. Also, getting expertise from people such as Max (Max History) on this site is a good idea.
