To many pages on development of the regiments, Freitag as Ia, command of Kampfgruppen, etc to copy all, but below from volume 5 of "German Cross in Gold Holders of the SS and Police" has everything. Just posting the 10 pages of Freitag's individual biography, all others mentioned are in it as well in considerably more detail than anywhere else. I've always been curious why document collectors buy pieces before they have any idea who signed them, if unit/rank is correct for that date, etc. Did see some 4 figure fake GC and KC Vorschlag here that bought without basic available book knowledge, but I managed to help get them returned and the buyer's money refunded. To bad I'm honest, I could make a fortune creating fake documents .

                      Andy

These are very nice documents indeed, complete with some very nice Waffen-SS RKT signatures.

A detailed research of the recipient should be relatively easy, given the linked sources already provided.

As a small point of interest, is EK urkunde signed by Alfred Wünnenberg cut down or trimmed?

                      Regards Richard.
Always looking for Luftwaffe Kampfflieger related document groups. In particular anything to Kampfgeschwader 2.

You'll find the book source given has considerably more (and correct) data than any web links. Ostendorf is in volume 1.

                          Mark,
Here is a good quote from David Gailen..."CHECK A REFERENCE BOOK. OH! I FORGOT NO ONE BUYS REFERENCE BOOKS ANYMORE"

Andya, you should seriously consider buying Mark's books.

                            help with value

Due to unforeseen vehicle issues I need to sell this and other items to pay for the repairs.
I have tried to find others for comparison but without success.
I hate to ask and I know it is a question often frowned upon but some guidance with value for the PAPERWORK only of this little grouping would be very much appreciated
                            thank you
