A beauty! Not all of us were lucky to start with a "Dietrich" signed LSSAH award document.

Hi,

Congratulations on a great first SS document.

The interesting thing for me is the unit, 3rd Kompanie Pionier Abteilung, which in October of 1942 would be transfered to the 1st SS Panzer Regiment to form the 9th (later 14th) Panzer-Pionier Kompanie and be retrained to use SdKfz 251-7 armoured half-tracks.

Was there any other info with the document, or did it come on its own?
