Close Combat Clasp in Gold - Award document

    Hi !

I want to show you a very interesting award document: Close Combat Clasp in Gold for a member of the Rgt. "Der Führer".

Unfortunately, the state is not the best.

    Have fun viewing

Very interesting and very rare citation, signed by Sylvester Stadler. I can only find 2 names for members of Der Führer winning the NKSiG on that date and only one was with 11./SS-Pz.Gren.Rgt (as Gruppenführer) and that was SS-Unterscharführer Franz Grabner.
The other was SS-Unterscharführer Hermann Pösch who was Gruppenführer in 9/SS-Pz.Gren.Rgt 4 'DF'.

Very nice indeed, it's also pictured in Manfred Dörr's book.

                  Baska,

Looking at the reverse, has it been glued to a parchment map to preserve it?

Done by the original owner or made that way?

Pösch's urkunde is also pictured in Dörr's book and is as you'd expect, identical in form.

                        Simon,

Sorry, I don't have the book but will add it to the 'things to get' pile.

Thanks for tip, by the by, what does it retail at or is it scarce to obtain?

                          Justin,

I thought so, I see maps of that construction all the time here just wondered if any detail was visible.

                          Cheers.

A very nice and rare award doc on an uncommon print!

Do the other award documents still accompany this one?

                              How about photos?
