Black wound badge certificate

Hi,
I have the Black wound certificate to an Unteroffizier Rudi paul. Does anybody know what a "Genesenden-Kp" is? Also i would like to find out where the Inf.Ers Bn 162 was fighting in Sept 1941? Any help or info would be appreicated..

It's the convalescent company of a depot training and replacement battalion.

the battalion provided replacements for the 61,199 and 244 infantry divisions so his field unit might well have been one of these.

Lyck was in East Prussia but is today called Elk and is in Poland.
