Reservistenkrug 1938 Pioniere mit Urkunde

Hello!

One of my wife´s friends has just offered me this 1938 Reservistenkrug with original Urkunde, which belonged to her grandfather.

He did his military service with Pionierbatalion N° 34 (Koblenz). The certificate has his name, rank and service period on it.

They want 250 Euros for it, but I don´t have a clue of what it exactly is and if it´s even worth that much.

Any advice would be very helpful!

I'm not sure what the mug is worth, but the urkunde appears to have been trimmed on all sides, greatly reducing it's worth. I'd pay about $10 for it, unless there was something really special about it...
