Hi guys, I have two questions I'm trying to give answer.

1) The first is about pag. 24 of the WP. This page is for the discharge (due to several reasons) and is divided in 9 parts.
My question is: what means the part "EIGNUNG ZUM"?

- Entlassen am: date
- als: rank of the sodier
- nach: as (?)
- von: last unit of the soldier
- Eignung zum:
- Stammrollen-nr. / Ranglisten-nr.: numer of stammrollen or rangliste
- Art der Entlassung: reason of discharge
- Ärztliches Entlassungs-urteil: medical reasons
- Überwiesen an: military district


2) The second question is understand wich decoration is the one show in this picture:
Schutzenabzeichen...???

I have one Soldbuch where the poor artillery man lost both hands to shell splinters at Sevastopol and he was designated as fit for service on April 5th 1945!

His previous duties had included forward observation/range finding for (AAA) artillery, so perhaps it was felt that he could still be of service for his knowledge even with such a severe disability.

Hello my Friend, are you sure that the decoration name is correct?
Maybe would it be Schieß-Abzeichen für Gewehr?

The entry definitely says "Schützenabzeichen für Gewehr". From the year it was awarded (1935) it would have to be the Reichswehr-version of shooting award, i.e. the Tresse stripes worn on the lower left sleeve. (The shooting lanyard was only introduced in 1936.)
