    It's sad.......

    I just looked thru some stuff I got not too long ago and ran across these two photos which are part of a small lot.

    It's always sad to see stuff like that...

          Considering the aspect of the grave, it is not made by German soldiers, so the right man must be the one buried in Italy. Plus, it seems like the same date of death is written on the cross, american style, with the month, then the day, then the year.

              Do you guys think the Germans will ever want their history back.
              I can imagine some german kicking his parents in the future because these sold opas war photos for 5 euros.
              I would have a heart attack if someone sold my grannies family albums from the spring family. 200 years of history.

                I have got wartime documents, Wehrpass, soldbuch, membership books, photo albums, etc. from both my grandfathers and I will never, ever sell them. Cheers, Torsten.
