Saw this on ebay about 10 min's ago, didn't bid on it because I don't know enough about item like this. it went for $478.00 did the guy get a good paper or did he get ripped???

After looking through the books I have regarding the Waffen-SS I found the photograph in a book by Christopher Ailsby. The person depicted on the photograph was a SS-Rottenführer of Fuss-Standarte 87. Weird that the forgerer placed that thing (don't know the name for it) on top of his right collar tab which showed the edelweiss insignia, since that would make this fake Ausweis even more "rare" I guess.
