Thanks for posting the color photos. Color photos were relatively rare.
I have the following observations to offer for what they may be worth:
On the first picture I noted the practical sandals worn by the deplaning personnel;
- personnel apparently very close to the burning plane, seems they are bucking for trouble.
Lastly: it must have been awfully hot in those paratrooper smocks even when as evident tropical clothing is worn underneath.
Good view of the bandolier being worn. Reminds me of one picture of the action to free Mussolini shown after he leaves the hotel with German personnel around him if my memory does not trick me.
