Hi Guys, I found some nice photos over the weekend. Most are from a corporal in Italy. Pictures of towns, Sistine chapel, etc. One picture stands out, bombed out building on top of a mountain. Monte Cassino...Thoughts?

The other photo I found looks to be early early SA or Early Political leaders. To me it looks like early insignia for an nsdap cell leader. Also some guys are wearing open clawed belts while some are wearing actual buckles. Any info would be appreciated.

One picture stands out, bombed out building on top of a mountain. Monte Cassino...Thoughts?

This is the ancient roman fortress "Rocca Janula" (was already in ruins before the battle / bombings started) above Cassino-town, and below the abby of "Monte Cassino".
