                Very nice portrait, and although I have seen a couple other SS camo portraits as good as this one, it's still one of the best!!! Congrats on your great flea market find!!!

                          Hello.

                          I've been thinking about this photo.

                          I would assume this photo was taken in the barracks? I can't see the soldier walking into town in his cammo' gear and certianly not popping into a studio while on garrison duty.

                          Was it common for photos to be taken in barracks?

                          (Boring note, we had a photographer taking snaps of us to sell on returing from a bimble in the country side at camp).
