NSDAP party book question

was wondering if it is common to find these with no paper stamps in them? This book came in a convolut of a family from Hamburg. The father was a Jewish banker there. Interested to see what the ones in the know have to say about the book--this may be his son with a name change.. Thanks for any and all help. Mike
