    Another SS ID...

    Hi guys,

    Found these two nice photos... An exquisite group wedding photo with highly decorated SS officer from 1938 - possibly on the back it says "Ostendorf or Ohlendorf"??? Really a very nice piece... positive ID & and comments welcome!!

    The third photo is of SS-Obergruppenführer... also very cool image!!

          It reads "Hochzeit von Ich Ostendorf Hannover 1938." As I said above, the highly decorated SS-Obf. is Waldemar Wappenhans.
          The other photo shows Arthur Seyss-Inquart before Spring of 1942, so not late war.

                        And thanks Max for identifying Waldemar Wappenhans... I do not know much about the guy, but it seems like someone who seen a lot of action in WWI (even as a pilot?)...

                        The groom is wearing cufftitle with #9 on it. I post close up later today.

                        I guess Frau Wappenhans is on her husband right...

                        Is the 92 number and 9 related to the Hannover area?
