Hi Sebastián,
took me quite a time to look through a whole load of books to find a mother cross in wear. I thought it would be much easier !!!
But these pics are very (!!!) hard to find, which in the first place I couldn´t believe. Went through several books but couldn´t find a single one.
Til I found this book on a flea-market two weeks ago.
And here it is: Grandma with mothers cross !!!
(and a member of NS-Frauenschaft !!!)

I always feel that the Mother's Cross was a sort of female equivalent of the Wound Badge.
If you think about it, it makes a lot of sense.
I'm also surprised that there are so few photos of the cross being worn, but it's a fact.Comment

!
Seriously, though, these ladies obviously got mutterkreuz "credit" for babies they produced for the Kaiser rather than exclusively for the Fuhrer!
Over the years, I've seen a lot of what could be termed "popular culture" photos of the Third Reich era, but almost none of them showed those crosses being awarded or worn.
