    Hello Todd

I would say Heinrich Springer from the LAH.

As far as I know Springer didn't recieve the Infanteriesturmabzeichen so I don't think it's him. Maybe someone can prove me wrong by posting a picture of Springer wearing the Infanteriesturmabzeichen.

        Best regards/ Daniel

I would say Heinrich Springer too, it deffinetly looks like him (see attached photo) although his website http://www.heinrich-springer.de makes no mention of him being awarded the IAB and I can't find any photografic evidence on the website showing the IAB being worn! Although if I remember correctly the book The Iron Cross by Gordon Williamson shows Springer being awarded the Bronze IAB in France in 1940! I also think that being in the 3./SS-InfRgt(mot.) "LSSAH" throughout the war he would have been entitled to a bronze IAB at some time.

          Regards
          Phil
