Anyone have a clue where this is?

My first posted pic. I think it is interesting. I don't read german so don't know what sign says. Note the panzer men in foreground. Let me know what you think. thanks

Kraftfahrer means driver but I'm not sure what this actually means in this context.

    Best regards/ Daniel

It means that all motor vehicles (drivers) are not allowed to go faster than 10 km/h over that bridge. The REALLY interesting sign is the LEFT one illegible on your scan. I just can make out ......brücke. This one tells you the name of the bridge and with it maybe the location! Looks like an improvised pontoon bridge to me.

I think on the left sign one word is "Kriegsbrücke" = war bridge.
For more research better scans would help.

The word on the top says Längste meaning longest.

                      It looks like:

                      Oberstltn.
                      Velke-Brücke
                      Pi45

Oberstltn. Velke was presumably associated with Pionier.Btl. 45 (destroyed in Stalingrad) or Pionier-Batl. (mot.) 45, which was raised on 14.08.1943.

                      /David
