Hi I am very interested in seeing all (or as many as I can) of the color photographs taken by SS-PK Wilfried Woscidlo while he was attached to the 12SS Panzer Division 'HitlerJugend". The two books that had a number of the color photos were Herbert Walther's book on the 12 SS Panzer Division in Bild, and the book Blood and Honor. Both of these books were published before 1990 ,when Wilfried Woscilo died, and the photos were credited to Woscilo himself. Does anyone know to whom the rights on these photos were left to?
The Bundesarchive lists twenty digitized Woscidlo's photos on its web-site, how ever, only one of these photos is in color, even though I have seen color copies of many of the others. Further search of the Bundesarchiv shows that there are 83 Woscidlo's on file in Lolblenz. Please see the attached.
Now is there any way to find out if these photos are in color? If they are in color, would I be able to get prints for my private use? Thank you.
