    3. SS-Panzerdivision Totenkopf Award Documents

    Gentlemen

Could you comment on these documents please. I am always very wary of any SS items so would value your opinions before I lay any money down.

    Many thanks

    James

            Hi James!
Till now I thought that the commander of the Totenkopf division was Eicke in 1941-43. (EKII award doc)
Or this is Eicke's signature?Maybe freehand signature?

It is the signatue of Herman Priess. If you look closely there is an i.v. which has part of the stamp covering it, with the i.v. indictaing that he has signed it on behalf of the Divisional Cdr, i.e. Eicke.

No, not really but if someone wants something enough then they will be happy to pay the price (and, no, it wasn't me!)
