Anybody knows the meaning of the stamp of the upper corner left and the name of the Signature of the document?

    Thanks a lot.

    David.

The stamp top left i'd say was added by the recipient himself post-war. The signature to be honest i wouldn't bother about, he was a doctor and chief medical officer of the issuing field hospital.
Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.

Thanks Simon. Do you know the meaning of the word "Remscheld"? And the letters O.U in the date of the document is signed?

      David.

Remscheid is the name of a German town.

It seems that Herbert Eiker lived in Remscheid.

O.U. - Orts-Unterkunft - the place where the unit/hospital was located without giving the geographical name (secret)
