Post War Portraits of a highly Decorated 1WK Veteran

I recently picked up these two portraits with some other photos.

They appear to be taken post 2WK during a meeting of a Jäger Schützenverein? The old veteran has many decorations that appear to be World War one period including some organization type medals, badges that could be post war.

Can anyone identify this Gentlemen?

Wow!!! That is quite the chest of hardware.

You are corect Bill about his having WW1 service just a few of his awards include WW1 EK2, Hungarian commorative, Hindenburg Cross some Saxon and Bavarian awards and what appears to be the Baltic cross also some Austro-Hungarian awards appear to be on the second (back tier) medal bar.

Will be interesting to find out who he was.

I believe that is Felix Graf von Luckner, CO of the 'Seeadler', a quite successful commerce raider during the first war. I think these photos date from the 1960's.

Indeed this is Felix Graf von Luckner. I knew him personally when I was very young! Really a strong man.
