      Hi Bill,

I have a few photo albums from a guy from <i>Panzerj&auml;gerabteilung</i> 52, to which your soldier belonged. Maybe I can find some common information in our collections. I am particularly interested in officers' names!

      Quote from my <a href="http://www.ne.jp/asahi/wwii/panzer/images/">webpage</a>:

      <b>Feldwebel Stadlmair</b> went to Russia as a <b>towed-Pak Panzerj&auml;ger</b> in <b>46.Infanterie-Division</b>.
      Photos from Kertsch 1942 - <b><a href="http://www.ne.jp/asahi/wwii/panzer/images/46.ID-1.jpg">A not so tasteful joke</a></b> on his comrade Zelltner (note the divisional insignia) - <b><a href="http://www.ne.jp/asahi/wwii/panzer/images/46.ID-2.jpg">3.7cm Pak</a></b> in position - Krupp <b><a href="http://www.ne.jp/asahi/wwii/panzer/images/46.ID-3.jpg">Boxer truck</a></b> towing a Pak - <b><a href="http://www.ne.jp/asahi/wwii/panzer/images/46.ID-4.jpg">Stadlmair's truck</a></b> destroyed on July 1942.
After wounded in Caucasus, he was transferred to <b>Pz.Jg.Ers.u.Ausb.Abt.10</b> to be trained for armored tank hunters.
      A photo shows him commanding <b><a href="http://www.ne.jp/asahi/wwii/panzer/images/MarderIID-1943.jpg">Marder IID</a></b> and here is another picture from <b><a href="http://www.ne.jp/asahi/wwii/panzer/images/Meiling-1943.jpg">the front</a></b>.
Here are three photographs of him on various occasions: in front of a <b><a href="http://www.ne.jp/asahi/wwii/panzer/images/Stadlmair-1.jpg">Panzerj&auml;ger I</a></b> with comrades, <b><a href="http://www.ne.jp/asahi/wwii/panzer/images/Stadlmair-2.jpg"> with his comrade and commanding officer</a></b>, and a <b><a href="http://www.ne.jp/asahi/wwii/panzer/images/Stadlmair-3.jpg">studio portrait</a></b>.

        Hi Akira,

Many thanks for posting the dairy pics for me. I'll keep an eye out as I read for officers' names and let you know. I hope those who visit this thread enjoy seeing the diary . . . I'll get some scans together of some of my other diary acquisitions and get them up on the site! Thanks again!

        Bill
