Could it be that the pic shows a castle or a building like that ?
The word in parenthesis could also be near the German word "Schloss"

Only with a great quantity of irony one could say "Schloss" if you see this building...
It looks rather like a Christian Church.

The word in brackets is definitely "Schloss". Maybe its something to do with this place:
