SS Polizei Schuetzen Regiment grouping to an SS Oscha Dieding with IC2 document signed by Walter Krueger http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walter_...er_(SS_officer)

Includes the IC 2 doc as well as an Eastern Front Medal doc, promotion and early sports award certificate when the owner was in the 82. SS Standarte

Note ranks on this document dated Sept 41 are Unteroffizier for the recipient and Generalmajor for Krueger

Eastern Front Medal awarded Sept 42, rank is now SS-Oberscharfuehrer

Promotion..on Hitler's birthday. Interestingly, at this point, April 42, the SS Polizei rank system still uses Unteroffizier to Feldwebel rather than the SS equivalents.

Great group. I do like that sports doc; low-level sort of thing, but you don't see them every day like the EK2 and/or Ostmedal.

Anyone know what type of actions this unit was involved in?
