          oh wow, very cool.
I have never seen ss dental records before.
You can really find a little of every thing here on the forum.

          Cool share.
          Thanks.

that's a really cool conversation piece for any collection

Sometimes human Japanese teeth and skulls show up in USMC WWII groupings...this is less morbid

Dental x-ray picture of a ss grenadier

These dental files must be very rare, as I'm sure that most of them were trashed after the war. This is the first time in many years of collecting that I've seen SS dental records, especially an x-ray. I wonder what the value of such files would be on today's market???

              Best regards,

              Tom

These were usually kept in the (blue) Gesundheitsbuch but often just thrown out as stated before.

I bought them on a Dutch website. For a few bucks. First I thought they were fake because I have never seen this before. I also tried to search on internet but no results. All information is welcome. Thanks for your comments.

                  Regards Wilbert.

                    Wilbert,

They could be part of a collection that were found under some floorboards in Arnhem in the 90s. The dental records belonged to SS soldiers that went through units such as SS Ers Btl 'Germania', SS AuE Btl 12 & 16 that were based in Arnhem. Even the dental records of SS-Stubaf Sepp Krafft was also found in the same lot which I believe is now in the airborne Museum in Oosterbeek. I would say they come from the same lot.

                    Cheers

                    Scott

I think I have to visit the museum to get more information about the dentist cards. This is getting interesting.

                        Thanks.
