document Pz. B. Battr 338

I find a document of a iron cross for a Leutnant in Pz. B. Battr 338 (Tank Observer batt 338), i only know it was a part of the 16.Panzer Division. Who can help me to find out more of this unit??

Can't tell you too much but on 15.5.1941 Beobachtungs-Batterie (Panzer) 338 was subordinated to Artillerie Regiment 16 (renamed Pz.Art.Rgt. 16 1.7.1942) which was part of 16 Infanterie Division, later 16 Panzer Division.
