Arrived today, a good group shot with Luftwaffe Tropical uniforms, single rifle pouches and P.08 holsters.

I wonder what unit they were attached to and when. Rile pouches and pistol holsters seem a strange combination to me, though I realize that non front line troops might only have a single rifle pouch, but not the holster.

Thanks, I sorta figured it would be something like that, but as I said, not with the holsters, so good for the confirmation.

Also got these two recently, posted them for a translation of the name on the back, probably Marana on Sardinia. I wondered if the 'bloused' trousers would make him FJ, or would any Luft tropical wear them like this?
