1943 Heinrich Hoffmann Full Color Portfolio.

Gentlemen,

I have had my on this for some time, and was finally able to pick it up. I think it is just a really neat piece. 1943 Heinrich Hoffmann full color portfolio with 20 works Of Art. Grosse Deutsche Kunstausstellung 1943 (Great German Art Exhibition 1943) is on the cover of the portfolio, and "Held in the House of German Art in Munich" is on the first page inside of the portfolio. The 16"x20" portfolio was published by order of the House of German Art at the Heinrich Hoffmann studios in Munich. It contains excellent full color reproductions of 16 paintings and 4 sculptures that were on display at the 1943 "Exhibition of German Art." Of course, all opinions and comments are welcome.

Those of us who actively collect Hoffmann related materials will know about these portfolios. Certainly desirable, but not the rarest of Hoffmann items.
