LSSAH "Tiger" Panzer Grouping - Peiper Signature

Great grouping, good catch!

I wold suggest that the man was originally in a Panzer III Ausf M.

The 4th Kompanie LAH Pz Reg was a mix of Tigers and Panzer III's at the first period mentioned on doc 1, March 1943.

Then in May, the Tiger Kompanie became the 13th Kompanie, and was almost purely a Tiger Kompanie (with 4 Panzer III's left), the remaining Panzer III's were transferred to the Regiment Stab, in this case, 1st A. Pz Reg 1 (Aufklaerungs), which was then made up of Panzer IV and Panzer III's.

In the hand written part of the document he was
with the 4/SS Pz.Ausb.u.Ers.Rgt not Tiger kp.
then to 1.Ausb.kp.SS Pz.Rgt.1 which is the 1st training company SS Pz.Rgt.1 at Bitsch - Lager then on to the 1/SS Pz Rgt 1
Then injured in hospital back to training then to Stabs kp II/SS Pz.Rgt 1
Till wars end.
