    A question that always sticks in my mind, why is it that the German soldier seemed more prolific in photography than UK/US/Auz/NZ
    I think it is because of their sharp looking uniforms.

      I agree about the uniforms being sharp/attractive.

      I think the NSDAP hit the whole matter of 'image' right on the button.

      They were years ahead of their time with the projection of imagery and the presentation of their ideals.

The extras many not seem a lot but when you consider that this chap was either the son or grandson of the man in question, I thought it was rather cool.

        First photo - copy of this chap who was born in 1922 and passed away in 2003. This was of him in Waterloo before been ship to the Invasion front, fought in Caen and then Falaise.
