Remember seeing a photograph similar to this or this very one which had been autographed by Hitler and possibly dated. It was five years or so ago on a military website and it was for sale. By the time I decided to purchase it someone else made a quicker decision. If I remember correctly it was purported to have been taken near Berchtesgaden. Again, this is from memory.

I know it would be hard to know either way unless the picture was used in a Hoffmann book, which is a possibility.
A Hitler autograph would be the highlight of my collection. I collect photographs & postcards from Berchtesgaden, which is the reason I wanted to verify the location of the photo. I appreciate your comments.

It's a Hoffmann postcard - #66. I've had one like it for many years. The background looks very much like other photos showing Hitler on visits to the Königsee, which is near Berchtesgaden.
