Edited pictures in Picasa and now I don´t know how to get the edited pictures here. I try again if there is any interest to see more pictures of the school and the surondings also a lot of pictures of students from there.

I would love to see more images of this area. I would also wish to thank Scott again for starting this thread sharing his rare images and hope he has some more to post on this seldom seen area.

In the 1st image from the 60's, note the Huge Rock at the base of the flagpole that bears the Flint Kaserne Plaque if I remember right and of course as previously mentioned, the original existing light poles around the compound.

Very nice Tabula - thank you for posting.
It's always great to see old photos of my homeland.
Thankfully it almost looks the same nowadays.

I think this is a 40-41 class.

Superb photo.
That's the Blomberghaus - it's still standing altough it was heavily damaged in 1945 when SS and Wehrmacht troops took shelter there and US troops started shooting at them with mortars.

It has a sign with this story on it now.

Please post the other photos as well - I am eager to see them.
