    Nuremberg Trials

What would an original set of 50 signatures of TR war criminals from the Nuremberg trials be worth.I have seen alot of these thru the years.Probably more desirable than rare. All of the major names Goering,Speer,Hess, ect These have an excellent provenance and are original without a doubt. Thanks in advance

Hard to tell without knowing exactly whose signatures are included in your set and what they look like. Many signatures from the original Nuremberg Trial were written on slips of paper passed into each cell by one of the guards; some were just autographs while other included the date of signing and occasionally the person's title or rank and perhaps a few words of a message. All these do have value, perhaps more than you think. If you have 50 signatures and they are all from different persons, then you must have more than those from just the defendants at the original Major War Criminals Trial of 11/45-10/46 as there were only 21 defendants tried. But there were twelve subsequent trials of lesser known war criminals between 1946 and 1949 totaling 188 further defendants, and some of those people's autographs are even more rare and hence more valuable than those of the Major Defendants.

    Hope this helps. Good luck!
