thanks...

check out what i just got...picked up from a nephew of a POW of the battle of the bulge...when he was freed he took this souvenier....

i guess this was a postcard issued after the french campaign....

Looks like a postwar signature to me

Yes, I would agree (post war) as his war time signature was much more forceful and to reflect his status I quess bigger in all respects!

I had several documents ref: Gen. Lt. Menny and his promotions etc. signed by Nehring which reflected a much more vibrant hand!
