I've been told this document was to be signed by both Fegelein & his wife-to-be Braun before they were married. Gretel signed the back. Next scan.

I'm not sure what this document is but Fegelein signed both sides.

I try to collect only Fegelein photo's & documents but I did buy these a few years ago. There not his, but they go along with his final rank.

That's some really nice and rare documentation you have there. You did a good job putting it together.

Fegelein's cavalry were also responsible for some of the worst atrocities on the eastern front during 'anti-partisan' marsh sweeps in 1941-42.

I hate to say it. But the original photo show above is actually of EVA and NOT Gretl. If you check Anton Joachimsthaler's book "The Last days of Hitler" you will see two photos including the one shown above and another that has both Eva and Gretl with Fegelein. The one shown above IS EVA.

Hello Stevetas, brilliant collection, had to give my congradulations.
By the way, have you ever seen the colour portrait photos of Fagelein taken in 1944, their something cool, i think they were tkane by hitlers own private photographer Walter Frentz.

Correction....The First Photo is Eva with Fegelein..

Hello Honorable Forum Members and Viewers,
Happy to See all these great photos...
I have only one correction to make, no offence to the
esteemed Mr. Lumsden, of whom I enjoy and still peruse
his excellent collector books, that the first photo of the post is Eva Braun with General Fegelein, and not Gretl.

One would easily glance and assume such a close pose would have to be Gretl. However, our clues are the dress (Gretl wore two dresses for this occasion, white lace at the berghof, and black formal with hat during the ceremony, this dress is shown corresponds with Eva's attire on this occasion.) Our other helpful clue is unfortunately, Eva's nose ....She had a more bulbous tip to her nose than Gretl...

Also, The closeness of Eva and Fegelein has been reported by The Fuehrer's Secretaries in their final statements and
remineces of Hitler's entourage.....Dara and others believed
that Eva was closer to Fegelein than History would like to
admit. They have even suggested that the posting of Fegelein to FHQ was quietly encouraged by Eva, and that the Execution of Fegelein in the bunker also corresponds with Hitler's silent jealousy at this upstart SS Kommander....

At any rate, Great Topic, Love the Forum and no disrespect to Robin.....

PS Really like the ones of Gretl's re-marriage in Munich..eerie.....
