As far as I am aware, these are his only awards. As he only qualified for the U-Boat Badge in January 1945, its probable he never had enough opportunities for winning many awards. There was certainly no requirement to possess the EK2 or any other gallantry award in order to receive the Frontspange.Originally posted by Angel FarréI suppose you have all his award documents or. at least, a clear view of his wartime career so, did he receive the EK II? It's normal to have the U-boat Clasp in bronze and no bravery award? Any picture showing his full array of medals?
