    Drivers License

    Hey all, small group to a Luftwaffe man. There's a yellow cloth-type drivers license, his exam results allowing him to be a driving instructor (class 1-2-3) and U.S. release paperwork. Also an empty LW Soldbuch cover. His family kept his post-war (Nov 1945) list of awards. It included LW Erdkampfabzeichen, wound badge silver & black, EK1 & 2 (the EK1 went for a "buy it now" of $137 on eBay - I missed out ) and the DKiG.
    So, here's the pix, if anybody would like larger, just LMK!

    Instructors permit

    Here's the instructor test results, showing him qualified to be a driving instructor.

      US release paperwork

      His original occupation was a baker. He lost a good part of his left leg (didn't get the story on that) so I guess the US occupation authorities didn't see much purpose in locking him down.
