Does anyone know where I can find some info on this publisher? Their official site is more specified on current books, and I can't find other sites about the history of this verlag.

Also, what does the W35 mean?

Hello,

Verlag Offene Worte is today part of a group of publishers. To the same groups belongs E.S. Mittler & Sohn. It might be difficult to find something about the history of these publishers. Because of the books they published until 1945 they may not have too much interest today to inform people about their history.

I think the W 35 is a special former identifyer for adresses in Berlin which helped to find an adress in huge Berlin which might have been more difficult when only knowing the street. But I not know how the system worked.
