There are many threads on subject of paper brands with links to outside sources.

Portriga was one of several secret advances in emulsion technology during the war but I'm not sure to what extent it was used.... probably some limited usage.

Thanks for the answer. But I wanted to learn, have this paper used during WWI and early or not?

As far as I can tell Portrige was created during WW2. I would do more research if it involves a purchase.
