    midget SA trooper?

I just got a whole load of KM photos today, most of which are unidentified. This photo was in the lot. I guess the way the shirt fits him that he is dressed to play a SA trooper. I have never seen a HJ, or DJ wear a kepi, have you? Look at the neat decorations behind him.

I collect photos. I have seen a lot of those Russian Archive repros. I think you are wrong, but what diff does it make? I only posted it for the amusement of the forum. Here is the back of the photo. Where is the Russian? It must be the kleberest was added for effect?

Still, Andrew Harris may be correct. It's easy to fake that "torn out of an album effect" .......just glue a photo in an album, wait for glue to dry, then tear it out! So the back means nothing.
          That said, good luck.

Even though the photo looks as if torn out of the album - THAT MEANS NOTHING FOR ME. Fakers can use this effect too. I DON'T LIKE THE OBVERSE! About cuttings: I saw such cuttings on ORIGINAL WARTIME MADE photos, !BUT - they measure 6x6, 6x9, 7x10 cm & s.o., BUT THEY WERE NOT PC SIZE. Also, the subject of that photos was related with Russian warfare. This is the same as french photo paper was used during the occupation of France. Here we can see a child wearing SA uniform. IMO: this photo could be taken ONLY in Deutschland. PC size + russian cuttings + very bad quality of obverse = FAKE...

I believe oldtrcollector was merely posting the image due to the unusual subject matter. I for one appreciate it. That kid did need to grow into those ears!

EXACTLY! I'm glad SOMEONE appreciates my efforts. I could care less whether it is real or fake. It's still an interesting photo of a child dressing like an adult. And it is not for sale, so who cares if it is real or repro?

Nothing stands out to say it is fake or real in my opinion. What I don't understand would be the reason for it to be used by the Russians? Unless.... there was a funny cut line.... about those ears.

                            agree here 100%

Its a neat image but I couldnt even think why to fake such a photo?? Its nothing special or valueable in this image that it would make sence to fake it....no point
